ArtCarPalooza Coming to Georgia

ArtcarPalooza is a new artcar event being planned for the Atlanta metro suburb of Marietta Georgia. It's to take place on Labor Day weekend in conjunction with 26th Annual Art in the Park held each year in the historic Marietta Square.

ArtCarPalooza is offering gas, lodging and some meals for artists who bring their artcars to the show. "This is the perfect show for artcar artists to come and sell their artwork." said event organizer Rachel Bowen. "In addition, we're giving T-shirts to participants, plus awards, plus a reception at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art on Saturday night, plus any other goodies we can find."

Bowen went on to say "We have about 10 who are planning to come already -- so exciting -- but we'd love to have at least 20 more."

More information about this event can be found on the ArtCarPalooza website, including a sign up form. Bowen says "y'all need to hurry and commit.  Plus it's only 4 weeks away."

NOTE: According to Bowen "we will NOT be charging an entry fee for artcars." so disregard that part of the form.
